The Story-eyed family is growing!

I am very excited to tell you all about a new voice you’ll be hearing from very soon! Starting next week, Story-eyed will be hosting more than one opinion on the books and recommendations you wonder about most. We have exciting things planned for the months ahead and I can’t wait to show you all. But first, I am proud to introduce, my friend:

(And also her chainsaw.)

She is smart, she is funny, she loves to read, she’s a great writer and cat-mom, and, my favorite thing about her personally, she’s been my friend since before I can remember.

China and I grew up in the same neighborhood as kids; we spent way too much time playing Barbies, make-believe, and telling stories together. Now, as adults, we’re both still in the story industry: when she isn’t busy hanging out with her handsome cat, Groucho, China has a degree in English and works for the largest branch of our local youth library, here in Kansas City.

I sincerely hope you all enjoy getting to know her as much as I have throughout my life. I am proud and so excited to welcome her to the Story-eyed family! Look for her reviews starting next week, and some exciting site changes too!
